Re: PS4 Highlights!
Back onto the random topic of ACIV, I guess my faith in the series was reassured a bit, after watching this gameplay video Ubisoft just released today. fvwtvTwiCjY You know what Ubisoft, just shut up and take my damn money already! I'm still disappointed it's not about Henry Rollins running around ...

Re: How can we be successful/popular?
I think that idea could work well. However i would like mention that we should only have a limited number of worlds open at one time. The more worlds we have the more the player base is spread and the more of a ghost town each world feels, fewer worlds is better community-wise in my opinion. I'm th...

Re: How can we be successful/popular?
Ok, so one of the plugins I've been looking at for awhile to replace our current cuboids with is called Grief Prevention. This allows for quite a lot of nice protection from griefing, has a lot of options, and let's us more easily give "free" claims to players while still keeping it a bit of a chal...

Re: Goddamned Malware
Actually I've just managed to remove webcake, those nice folks over at The Escapist showed me a program to disable toolbars. I used that, disabled the process tree and then deleted all the files. Delta toolbar is a bit more of a little sod though, I can't find any processes for it. I've reset all th...

"If you don’t know exactly what you’re doing you should not attempt to use it on your own to delete anything from your computer!" Er, is this entirely sensible for someone as special as me to use? Goddamned Malware
So in my vague drunken internet ramblings I appear to have gotten this little blighter called Webcake. Annoyingly, nothing I can find in my slightly inebriated state has helped me remove the sodding thing. Halp.

I was looking forward to reading this. I remember the Templars... I was actually there, invisible, watching the base be annihilated. It was pretty damn hilarious.

Might be worth folding it into games & reviews. That said, I'm thinking about doing a Civ V let's play, but if we're only going to have one or two then I'm not sure if it's worth having a whole subforum for it.

I've been dared to read War and Peace (this is what happens when you take dares from your mum). In probably the least-deep analysis of it ever, I'll say it's pretty damned good, if a bit of a slog.

Richard Matheson has died
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-23043116 Richard Matheson had died, at 87. He wrote a hell of a lot, I Am Legend is probably his most famous book, but he also wrote The Shrinking Man , Hell House (my favourite) and What Dreams May Come . Some of the greatest Twilight Zone stories like N...

Re: Calling all players - If we wipe...
Hopefully players would be kind enough to accommodate players building rails under their cuboids? I understand they may not want to give people access to all their stuff, but in that case I definitely think it would be worth us helping out sort cuboid things for free.

Re: PS4 Highlights!
Wait, Sony are charging for multiplayer now? Well that's disappointing. I noticed that too, kinda sucks. Still, it's cheaper than XBL, and they do tend to throw in a lot of free stuff with it too, so it's not that bad. Frankly I was always surprised that it was free for the PS3. Other than that... ...

Re: PS4 Highlights!
I think the only slight downside seems to be that PSN will be mandatory for playing online. To be honest it's not that bad anyway, it's a much better (and cheaper) service than XBL, you get a heap of free stuff out of it too.
