Now that I'm a mentor, I'll have to come check it out. But it might be a bit, got a few projects going right now.

Re: [Poll] How did you find us?
My friend, Badalligator, found you and knew I would like it. This was after he'd gotten BADLY griefed on another server (which said they handled things like that) and the owner himself ignored his repeated requests for help (as they destroyed my friend's house around him). So, after cooling off for ...

Re: Legalize Marijuana?
Snip Your comment about needing more and more for the high is the best point, in my opinion. A high is generated when drugs mess up our bodies. Our bodies usually fight it off better the next time. This repeats. Soon, you'll be needing 10 times as much of the drug to get the same high. That leads t...

Re: Legalize Marijuana?
Nope. More than just a no, I mean seriously, what's Marijuana good for? It's not gonna be good for our economy. Why? 1. People become addicts to pot. 2. People run out of $$ 3. People sell their stuff at dirt cheap prices for pot. 4. People steal from other people. 5. Crime rate goes up. 6. Killing...

Marijuana is used for medicine? God i'm slow today Marijuana has been used for medicine since the 70s - at least, I knew of one study by the NIH using it with terminally ill cancer patients. I do not believe the study was ever published because various US government agencies didn't like its conclus...

Re: Legalize Marijuana?
The main problem that I see with smoking pot is the "smoking" part. Inhaling stuff into your lungs is generally not good for them - whether it's cigarettes, cigars, pot, or even smoke from wood burning fires. One issue that I think is overlooked is how the paper industry has used illegal marijuana a...

I just thought of some ideas for Suzzy's Place. To go with the dine/dancing idea, tonight I wouldn't mind creating a nice looking deck around the first floor of the exterior, make it outside dining. There could be a nice stage on the first floor as well. I have some cool design in mind for it. Upst...

Thanks for the suggestion about how to overlay them. I tend to use a lot of my widescreen monitor for Minecraft so I may have to change that. (But I never thought I'd need 2 monitors.) My biggest issue is not the overlay or size. It's that if I don't hit escape (and get the "return to Minecraft, exi...

I've got the road to my side pretty much done - at least to the beach house. I checked earlier today with Badalligator to make sure the place I'm putting it is ok with him since it goes through the edge of his landclaim. He showed me where he wanted it, and I put it there. The bridge looks great. Wo...

Hey Derigin, I was thinking I'd put the road from the bridge along the shore leading toward the southern hill where I'm going to put my unbuilt 4th tower.
And as for that house Suzzy gave me, it's just a shell. I was thinking about turning it into a dining and dance place - what do you think?

Re: Car insurance and buying a car.
Well, you can buy a useable used car in Canada for around 2-3k (canadian dollars), but car insurance for a used car is also around $2000 per year (and that's with the good driver discount and being older than 25 and not driving very much). I think it's a lot more for young, new drivers. In the US, t...

Re: What are your thoughts about capital punishment.
My understanding (from a sheriff/prison guard friend of mine) is that "nice things" given to prisoners is not for the purpose of reform or being fair or whatever. It's simply a matter of keeping them under control. Prisons cost a lot of money to run and maintain - and over time, the number of inmate...

Re: What are your thoughts about capital punishment.
Your question is about the abolition of the death penalty. The choices refer to different types of punishment rather than about yea or nay to the death penalty and why. This indicates to me that you've already decided that the death penalty is only about punishment. My debate topic in my senior year...
