This kinda why I asked if anyone wanted to contribute; I'm not going to review Vertica because that would be silly.vallorn wrote:Review: MagmaVale, Vertica, Mentor Resort, Darkhaven and Vault 88.

Travel Guide of Escapia, calling all Settlement Owners!
I'm going to start writing a travel guide type thing, I'll write a couple of paragraphs for settlements and sites of interest and add a few screenshots. I'm asking settlement owners for permission first, and I'm not going to make this in any way competitive and I will certainly not say that somethin...

Re: City Ratings
Hmmmm... I'm in two minds on this; I see the usefulness as sort of tourist guide, but I'm not sure about the idea of having a numerical rating system which would basically rank different settlements. Perhaps it might be better just to write a Travel Guide of Escapia , which I suspect might be more a...

Re: The MagmaTowns.
If Darkhaven is going to be a large scale farming settlement, can we remove the Vertica farm? It's too large and it blocks some ideas I have for expanding the town too. I'd like to make Vertica into a nice quiet residential garden town, it would fit better if MV is going to be the main town and the ...

I like the idea the Godavari had; essentially a large, sparse town focusing on realism. If you find a space for it then I would certainly build a house there.

This is my Beorn house, although it now has a nice little garden and mossycobble. It doesn't really look like anything else I've ever made though, but I love it! Looks much nicer than all my other stuff.

Re: What does your (Minecraft) house say about you?
Mine says I'm paranoid. It's a little (one room and a small tower) cobblestone castle, surrounded by a deep, flowing moat. It was the first shelter I made and I've spruced it up a little (blue wool carpets and a nice glass bit on the roof), but I haven't had the time to make anything grandiose. The ...
