Because I decided green wasn't a trendy enough color, and purple is slightly harder to read, making me an evil person to anyone who attempts to read my name. :P

No, in all seriousness I was promoted to the rank of Director recently, as well as various other people who received their own promotions (like Daemon and Tyrese). There'll probably be an official announcement for it a bit later, closer to when we update. ;)
