Grammar and You
Heavens people, take some time and have a little respect in what you say on these forums.
It's becoming more of a trend to haphazardly slap your hands on the keyboard and post whatever you think is important. I know that most of our users are above the age of 14, so therefore most of you have the basic understanding of how to capitalize the beginning of your own sentences. Most (if not all) modern web browsers have a built-in spell checking function as well. Use it.
Every time I see a post that looks like it was written by retarded howler monkey, I want to reach through my monitor and choke you.
Much love,
SneakyPie

And I'm proud of it.
You could be me too if you could only spell, and were British, and posh, and rich, and an Admiral, and an Earl of Burma, and were blown up by the IRA.

Also, punctuation.
Nobody seems to want to break up their long sentences with a comma or two.

Re: Grammar and You
My favourite (genuine) question of the day:
"y cant i lvie in leporsy"
1. 'Y' is not a word
2. Even if it was, it should be capitalised
3. 'Can't' should have an apostrophe
4. 'I' should be capitalised
5. 'Lvie' is not a word
Hmm, nothing wrong with 'in'.
6. 'Leporsy' is not a word.
7. Question; should have a question mark.
HOW is THIS MUCH FAIL possible in SO FEW WORDS!?

I really don't mind this at all in-game as long as people can easily make sense of what you are trying to convey. On the forums however, time should be taken to proofread what you have typed to make it easier for anyone who is trying to help you. All this requires is to go back, and reread what you have written. Could any of you tell that I suffer from dyslexia?
I will use an example from a completely random post I had trouble reading. I won't will not show the user's name out of respect.(I gotchyo back MichealD20 )

Tut tut dupe using abbreviations hypocrisy is a bad thing you know. Also this is going to get rather out of hand if people keep pointing out other peoples grammatical errorsDuplicateValue wrote:I'm gonna have to rob Lord Mountbatten's pic for this one.arogon343 wrote:Thank god someone pointed this out. Re: Grammar and You
Alright.
Yes, we all make mistakes when typing. No, we do not need to go and point out every single mistake we make, that's not at all what I was getting at.
I would normally post examples of what I'm referring to, but I'm sure the worst offenders would be easily insulted by by me showcasing their incapability to construct a proper sentence.
I'm sure most of you can name at least two offenders off the top of your head easily enough.

Grammar had nothing to do with those bans.vallorn wrote:either Comet1 or ReaperOfDeath were.
or at least it was a contributing factor to thier bans.
Comet was banned for jumping on the bantrap, if grammar was the cause he would have been long gone before this.
