Twisted Twin Towers of the USSR

It's old but gold. If it could help you out we've probably chucked it in here.

Twisted Twin Towers of the USSR

Post by random980 » 10 Sep 2011, 05:05

Well i have completed the outside of one of the 2 towers, i may or may not make it taller at some stage.
Sure its made out of wood and coble now, but the final building will look awesome, smexy, even more trippy and awesome.
Here are 3 pictures of it:

Trippy isnt it :D (Its even more of a mind rape trying to build it, even more painful explaining to others how to make it... :? )

To tell the truth, working out how to build it took longer than actually making it.
Not to mention that making it twist actually uses less mats than if it was a normal, 4 walled tower! As soon as you figure out the pattern you can fly through construction. Still took me over around 2 months to build the 1 tower, working on it slowly on and off.
Best way to see them is to take the North Fyra rail to looneyville and walk through the town to the right until you come to the frozen lake, the towers will be right infront of you. :D

I might make it taller.

Feel like i should update this :?
Both towers are built (out of wood and cobble) I will be adding more height to them! (another half twist if possible)
A bridge between the towers will be added in the future aswell!
I will update the OP with some new pictures later.
