No, seriously.

Do you all realize the kind for devotion the staff here has for Escapecraft? Allow me to provide some examples that staff members have done because they care about you all.

• Most staff members have been a part of this community non-stop for over a year. That’s a long time on the internet. Especially for an online community. While they’ve been a part for so long, they have given countless hours to ensure that the server and forums remain a fun and safe environment to come together in. The staff here truly does care about what happens which is a lot more than what you find elsewhere.

• We have staff members (SachielOne) who are willing to go through the horrors of sitting on a series of Greyhound buses for dozens of hours three straight days just to plug the community as well as present your donations to charity for Desert Bus.

• We have tech admins who spend a ridiculous amount of hours looking at and writing code for plugins and our website to make sure that the server plays nice for multiplayer.

• We have devoted Public Relation members who got us into the mainstream by becoming the official server for the Escapist. They are also still working on multiple avenues to further promote us.

• We have a video creation team who are busy creating content for the Escapist.

• We have staff members who oversee different worlds to ensure that they receive the proper attention, maintenance, and care for players.

• Hell, we even have staff members whose job is only to help greet and welcome new players into the community.

• We have staff members who, out of their own pockets, spend a lot of money for server upkeep.

The Escapecraft community is only here because of the incredible staff. Have you thanked a staff member today?

It's a nice community I admit. Thanks to all you important people. I'm especially impressed at the immense patience these people exhibit in dealing with the number of absurd remarks from new players (the clueless ones) or the badgering demands of less patient veteran players. I can't tell you how many times I've wanted to barge into a discussion and smack a dense player or two on the head and they were still keeping their cool.

As much as I kinda just vanished, don't think I've forgotten about you lot.

Staff, regardless of whether I know you or not (There have been some additions since I left, whom I have not met). You do your job admirably, and I know for sure that I do not have nearly enough patience to do what you do.

Anyway, I'd like to say thanks, and a proper goodbye. Delphi, Darktaint, Sachiel, Haxx, Wokka, (Bl)Adder, Pin, Ninja, Lion, Lord, Kindy, Dupe, Deri, Beltom, Lath, Tome, Warlock, Jag, Zin, Afly, Give, Beard, Laptop, Godavari, Wtd, Milo, Wisey (You'll always be Wisey, no matter what your name is.), and of course, Sneaky.

Thank you, for providing such countless hours of fun, entertainment, and enabling me to meet people who helped shape me into the person I am today. I love you all, and miss you dearly. It's a crying shame that MC no longer holds that appeal for me.

There are a lot of names up there, all of whom are staff, but even if you're not up there, I haven't forgotten you.

The behind the scenes planning got us into the mainstream. Being mainstream is indeed a worthy accomplishment, given the access and availability of other servers.
However it is needed for survival. If the server doesn't grow it cannot get more money via donations to grow further. So advertising is the crouton to which is nothing compared to the homage I will pay to those that make this place (forums, chat and server itself) a genuinely safe, relaxing, reliable place to be. I refer also to long-term players (and mods) who are friendly and invite their friends via word of mouth. The effort by the devs to make this place stable resulting in no massive loss of data and change.
The ability to leave and come back to your home after a holiday, month of exams or long stint at work.
