The Pyramid: Opened

It's old but gold. If it could help you out we've probably chucked it in here.

The Pyramid: Opened

Post by Dnlvickers5 » 12 Mar 2012, 22:18

Hello ladies and sacrifices. Welcome to the world of the Pyramid. A first ever Co-op puzzle map for the server that is themed after the pyramids and mythology of the the ancient Egyptians. You frantically race to escape the labyrinthine puzzle map along with one partner of your choice.

Once in enigma, follow the signs from spawn to reach a boat similar to the one in the picture (above), then walk on board. A warp will take you to the Pyramid once you go below deck.

As some base tests, we put our official test rats through and we can estimate that you will get a minimum of 4 hours of co-op fun (maybe longer if you don't hurry) Also, we have made two different in-game achievements for completing it. You will get one for each ending of the map, so if you want both, you may need to play through twice to get the full effect, leaving it with much play ability in the fact that there is always a second view point for every puzzle.

Also I have put in a special challenge. I am so sure that we have built a supremely mind blowing puzzle, that I am offering 1 month of royalty for each player in the first three co-op pairs to beat it. So race to get in if you want this first come, first serve offer.

Happy hunting!

After all that we got some "official" test subjects. They have logged multiple hours of testing for us. I have forgotten ilikefoxes, but the rest of you I only used for one or two puzzles. I am sorry if you find this insufficient, but Neon and them really deserve it because they even went through a 4 hour strait run through. So I think they deserve a lot of credit.

Wtd built it, and it is supposed t be themed as a British excavation site, where you explore a pyramid, then something goes horribly wrong. So the ship makes sense in our minds.

If only I hadn't postponed work on my puzzles... I could have had the first co-op puzzle! :D
But seriously, I've been looking forward to this. You guys make amazing puzzles/redstone contraptions, so I'm expecting a lot!
And hey, maybe this'll convince me to get back to working on my puzzles...
Oh hey, I have a signature now! 26/07/11
