The only use I have for cacti is green dye. Is there another use?

Traps, pvp, decoration, suicide booths.

Mob towers (if sort on lava) Disposal systems Torture chambers. (dispenser with eggs at one end, cacti at other. Hatched chickens get stuck in the cacti)

I use the cacti to fill my chests.

You should get a zip program then =p because when you want to upload the folder it needs to be in a format that you can you just upload the whole folder as... such as... a zip file.

Yes...
Sure after it a bit it starts saying you need to buy it, but you can just ignore that part and continue using it anyways... it does not prevent you from using it... just guilt trips you.

When you have winzip installed you can just right click the folder and select zip this folder (or it might say Compress this folder) and tadaaa, you have a zip file then just upload the zip file
