Arley
Arley is a small town in northern Borjan, founded on the day that Borjan opened, but keeping itself to itself.
Until now!
That's right, after a small expansion you too could own a house in this quaint village!
Just post here to register your interest, though I'd advise checking it out first, since if you'd like to move in, we'd appreciate it if your building was in keeping with the village's rustic aesthetic.
Directions
From the Borjan Train Terminal, take two stops north until you reach the Brotherhood's crossroads. Then, facing back along the track and walking along the right hand side of the rails, you will reach the village.

The train station/town hall's inspiration:http://www.arleystation.org.uk/asgalleries.html
In real life, Arley is a tiny village in Worcestershire, near Kidderminster, with very little except a train station, a pub and a post office. Just thought you'd be interested
Photos (Some plans)

Note that the train station is not yet functional! If you are a town in north Borjan, and you'd like to consider a link then just talk to me in game or PM me on these very forums.
Town rules are visible in the train station, and I hope to see some visitors after this post
WARNING LIST
After a spate of problems between members of the town and the surrounding area, I have decided to institute a warning board. Basically if you are causing a negative atmosphere in town and are recorded on this board twice then I'll unfortunately have to kick you out since it's not fun for the people it's been affecting and it's not fun for me (or mods if they have to get involved) to deal with. Everyone shall have a blank slate to start with.

Building Regulations:
-2 Storeys+Basement
-Stick to plot boundaries- walls can be on marked boundaries
-No additional plots or expansion without express say-so of Tyrese. Permission may be asked on this thread but the answer's probably no.
-Try to keep in theme with the style of the village.
Other rules are visible in the town hall, but they are mainly to do with permissions etc.

Plots are free. Just build- 2 storeys+basement and make it look "old", see the OP for potential ideas. Build on the plot boundaries, just not out of them

Also, this is a pretty nice town you're putting together Tyrese. I wish you the best of luck.

Re: Arley
A number of things:
Firstly, I shall be away from Minecraft for personal reasons until Saturday. For this occasion and others like it, in-game running of the town shall default entirely to Osiriss2, who shall be notified via off-game methods.
Secondly, Hi Banana and Tanis, thank you for the complement and greetings
Thirdly and finally, on the Branchscape thread it was mentioned that towns' consent was needed to form a Branchscapian empire. Due to my personal enjoyment of the BS project, I would be willing to submit Arley for consideration- as long as we don't get taxed into the ground or something, I think it would
be mutually worthwhile. Thanks

Yeah, if you fancy a look that would be fine. I won't be on to show you, but it shouldn't be an issue.

Re: Arley
(I know that you have directions, but could you also post the coords for your town in the OP?)
lulz 'BS'. ^^
I got a laugh out of that.(Usually the abreviation is BR... because of other connotations of BS)
Also, Official post has made it official.
Welcome!

The guidelines for this are about halfway down this page: http://www.escapecraft.net/phpBB3/viewt ... &start=450As of this day, Frost and Arley will join the list of BR towns, and these guidelines will apply to them:
Welcome!

Re: Arley
Unfortunately I think this is bad enough that a new post is necessary, there is now a warning board due to certain members of town causin' trouble in mah neighbourhood. Two strikes then I'll evict you, see OP for more information.

Re: Arley
Depends if someone else wants to give up their plot. I might revoke MrJKapowey's since he's not been on since december when I put the plots out.

Nope, I might have to boot Kap out to make room for Afly. Since he's never on shouldn't be an issue though

Re: Arley
You've got one reserved, you just need to turn up and pick one . I guess I can do that if you'd like.
Edit: MrJKapowey and I have come to an agreement, freeing his plot up for Afly. As a compromise, he shall be becoming official town Hobo, living in the shady alley down the back of my Stationmaster's cottage.
Speaking of trains/stations, I still need to find northern towns to do rails to. I'll try and do one to the Brotherhood base to minimise the danger of getting to the town

Re: Arley
Right, break-ins. It's server rules, but still- back up and seal it off. Leave a /cremove apology sign if you are feeling generous. Osiriss, I'd advise seeing if you can get a mod to check who did it. A good start for your period in command
