Everybody has by this point, but more importantly have you read about the Behemoth Spleef Tourny i will be hosting sometime next week? :D http://www.escapecraft.net/phpBB3/viewt ... 723#p54723
Also the faction map does look good, its worth an explore, but after that, the whole faction/PvP thing gets boring. Minecraft wasnt designed for PvP, it was designed for creating.
well... not entirely invincible. It blew up. apparently it took thousands of tnt and most of the factions. It got raided but i imagine we'll go back.

until the PVP world, theres not much of a reason to build a base.

We WERE working on the 38 but apparently no one wants to work on that either.

Also Saphiri is a lag fest currently. but we'll do something with it eventually.

Well i won the PvP build comp, asian themed devision!
Now i have royalty which means i get a /sethome :DDDDDD
More importantly does ANYONE HAS TEH WOOLS!!?!?!? (or snow) more wool needed for more expansion work :D
And vol could you change the description of Solar City back to "A small village literally floating in the air, Its know for its amazing views, good looking buildings and for its unique spleef court, known as the Fog Pit. Solar City is one of the best known locations for viewing sunsets/rises in all of escapia. It continually undergoes border expansion at this time."

Also change dwarf city from being a successful town to a ghost town :P
And could you also add my position of Royal Architect to the positions list?

And cross out 12 and 28 on the 'to-do' list

I have an overproductive tree farm and I would be glad to get rid of donate some wood to any cause in the USSR. I would also like to know if I may build a fort for the USSR and if it may be made of wood.

The wood may be very helpful when it comes to building the insides of our newest fort (under construction), The Twisted Twin Towers. Although none of us have been bothered to continue building it lately... :? (mainly my fault)
As soon as the mystery bastard lag goes and i finish that bowling ally, ill grab that wood off you and continue with the towers. Or give the wood to Byroe, Vol, Jonnybo or Power

Well I think i'll hold on to it until after the lock restart, as most people now don't bother opening chests because they may be locked. And do you want planks or logs?

Thought i'd give an update on the Lucky 38: It's going surprisingly well. Exteriors done. In all honesty its looking pretty nice! We have new things outside the casino to build now too. If any of you want to see it just ask.

Also byroe has expressed interest in taking over Trevmonkey's expansive store for those who remember it. We need to contact a mod.

Fulk here, giving an important update:
2011-08-28_23.35.13.png
What this is, is a new symbol for us, just how Corinth has the C for Corinthian, Now we have an S for Saphirian. Could we make this our symbol? :D

It will also be my major project, therefore I WILL NOT STOP WORKING ON IT UNTIL ITS DONE!!!
(ok i lied, i am taking part in the big build 3 with 967, but after THAT TTT will be my main focus)

A city cubiod? AHHH so much money!

As for the symbol, i'm fine with the idea of a symbol/crest. Only problem it will be difficult to replicate everywhere. Also i really REALLY like my green and while checkered pattern (i spent hours on it!). I don't mind using the symbol for engraving into walls and squares, and the pattern for flags and banners.

What would be cool is if we could combine both of them and still actually look good.

Also a "U" might be more appropriate as it would be difficult to make crests for every city (What would Solar's be if Saphiri already has an "S"? Not to mention Blackthorn's). But i cant think of any design that wouldn't just look like the inverted Corinth Crest

We dont need more/new towns.
We need to start advertising the ones we already have to new players.
Solar City has been doing well, ive only been getting people in :D (i have only 2 plots left!)
As for the crest and banner i agree, banners and flags are the green and white and the crest can be engraved everywhere. A crest will also look better then the green and white in the side of the entrance to Solar City.
Think of the flag as our national/country flag and the crest as our coat of arms.
If anyone wants to see what a Solar City embassy looks like, go visit Darkend :D

USSR disbanded? wah?
We were going to disband but then i was able to convince Volstag and Byroe to just change the direction of the USSR, so it became less of a chore for everyone. :D (We mainly focus on coming together for projects, rather than focusing on running whole empire/cities)
Also you should come visit Solar City again, its grown a fair bit! and more free cake would be nice.

Ok guys, sax gave me a great idea, i've noticed our membership has been dropping and we arnt getting as many people as we used too, but i have a solution. we should make a policy for recruiting, we should make it so that anyone who wants to join the USSR has to get the approval of the majority of the senior officials (Byroe, Volstag9, Powerfulkingt jonnybo, random980, and saxaphonepwns.) this would help regulate the people coming into the faction and give more freedom to the members. we could also so this for things we are going to do, where we do what the majority of the seniors say. (say if we have a choice of building a flying base or underwater base. we all vote on it, and we go with the majority.) and because we would have separated powers, we would never have to worry about not being on when something important would be happening and we can work on our own companies for our own timezones. if we do this, membership will no longer be an issue, because we can individually work on our own recruitment and also bring the republic back to the USSR because the Officials can elect their own minor officials and so on.

OK. here is my test,
A forum test.
Find in the Forums the (new) Co-ords for Solar City. Travel to Solar City, place a sign with your name IN the 'Fog Pit'. Also search via forum in which 'Weekly Event' i won my royalty in. ALSO tell me which event i just hosted in the 'Fog Pit'. Lastly tell me which country i come from.

The forums makes people less ignorant in the happenings of Escapecraft. I hate ignorant people, they stuff up everything. Prove to me you are not ignorant and i will gladly recommend you.
have fun mate, hope to see you next as a member of the USSR :D
(post answers in this thread) (extra points if you can tell me who designed Solar Citys flag).
