I don't really believe in a "God" but I believe everyone should believe whatever they want to. Not believing in God doesn't grant you infinite arrogance to belittle other's beliefs, and believing in God is *your* opinion and shouldn't be tried to have forced upon others.
I think by just accepting other's beliefs instead of blaming general violence on `religion` in general; alot of current world problems would be avoided.

Doubtful. Religion is used as an excuse for violence. If suddenly everyone accepted each other's religious ideas (which won't happen) something else would be used as a pretext for violence instead.

As I said, it's a question of power. It's likely that the people you meet who you feel are the most truly religious will be modest, kindly and content.

If you define most truly religious as a person who follows the edicts of a holy book to the word, then that certainly wouldn't be the case in any first world country.

That would be a fundamentalist. I do not consider them properly religious.
