The Economy

Post by Lord_Mountbatten » 10 Nov 2011, 10:06

would be doing better if market forecasters lied to speculators about how it is and will be doing.

Discuss how correct I am.

Clearly, we need to get our game on to mend the economy.

...to be honest though, you are pretty correct. However, you must consider the long-term implications, as market forecasters may discover they have been lied to, and may feel upset.

The economy's strength is affected a lot by how people feel about it. If we just released chemicals into the air that made everyone optimistic all the time, the economy would be fixed in a jiffy!

A high population is a population not worrying about stocks and shares!

Perhaps I can find a way to manipulate the markets in CUT's favour in the interim.

I think i'll just quote a Two Ronnies sketch here,it says things best about the economy...
"The true state of the countriey's finances was revealed today when the Bank of England announced a closing down Sale.."
"But the prime minister said today that the state of the economy was in no way conneted to the arrests this morning on dover beach of a large group of illegal immigrants who were trying to leave the country"

Uh... thats a whole load of bullcrap... Europe is in a tailspin due to the Euro messing with economic gravity making it impossible for heavily indebted states (and with our welfare systems almost all of europe fits that nowadays) to devalue thier currency to reduce their actual debt.

Europe is a burning wreck of a superstate project that I for one am getting the hell out of and moving over to America this summer.

You are entirely correct and need to be head of a government organization whose job is to keep the economy running.
