Barack Obama has been re-elected to continue serving as the 44th President of the United States. Republicans in Ohio continue to complain about the validity of the decision.

Opinions, go.

I'm happy with the results, though as a Canadian, my opinions on the matter are unimportant.

Guess Romney's hair just wasn't enough to sway the voters. Shame.

It was actually pretty close until California and Ohio (debatable) were decided, putting Obama nearly 80 electoral votes ahead of Mittens.

I fear for the future of my country now that the majority consists of people who have learned to vote themselves bread and circuses from their neighbors' pocket. Onward now, we rush toward the Grecian Cliff!

It is only a small majority, Eddie. R-Money seems to be getting closer and closer, looks like he is only about 100,000 votes behind right now.

It's been fluctuating from around 100,000 votes margin to almost one million, but yeah it is damn close.

Now people in Colorado and Washington can smoke pot :D

In addition, the swing states become more Democrat by the day so this did not come as much of a surprise. Regions in Virginia that used to be die-hard republican are now becoming die-hard democrat. Also, the Tampa region of Florida which was usually republican went Democrat giving Obama a slight edge there. In my opinion though, California has way too many votes. I think they should have maybe 48 votes (still a lot) because that saves a Democrats quite often. Other than that, Obama outperformed and deserved to win this election imo.

I love all of the bile being spewed from the sore losers. So delicious. I'm not sure anyone thought Romney actually was going to win.

I voted for Gary Johnson by the way.

Believe it or not, with the way the electoral college works, California is actually the most underrepresented state. A vote in Alaska matters almost three times as much as a vote in California.

Not yet. It's still federally classified as a narcotic, and in our state it is only legal to possess one (1) ounce of cannabis if you are over the age of twenty-one.

Did the Mountbatten crack fund have anything to do with this?
