RPG (No, not THAT RPG)

So, some of you may know what an internet RPG is, others may not.
I used to be a bit of a lurker on a site called writingforums.org, and I mainly posted in their RPG section. Unfortunately, it's not so active anymore, so I thought I'd take a try over here.
So, what IS an RPG?
An RPG is a Role-Playing Game, though it's not really a game when it's in this form. The GM, or Game Master, creates what an author would for a story. They create a scenario, a setting, and at least one main character. They also usually create a backstory, especially if the RPG is set in a different time or world.
People then sign up to play, and create characters that fit into the scenario, following any guidelines the GM has set up.
You're probably thinking 'this is just another game like Zombie Apocalypse or The Family. You're stupid Skunk, I hate you.'
Fair enough, but you're not entirely correct. With those games, I'd give you choices, and you tell me your choice. I then write about all your characters.
With an RPG, there are no choices. You need to write what happens to your character.
For example:
Player One - ...and then, the giant kicked him. As John Smith looked up, he could see the massive foot of the beast, lifting to crush him. John needed help, or he'd be gone.
Player Two - Jane Smith leaped into action, throwing her sword at the giant and pulling John to safety. She then... etc.
But, then you'll be spending even less time on The Family and Z-Apocalypse! D:
That's the brilliant bit! Since you write for your own characters, it takes a lot of work off me. I just need to write for my character and the NPC's.
SIGN ME UP!
If I get at least 5 people interested, I'll start something up. Let me know here if you are, and post any ideas you have for it.
I haz questionz
