Building a Computer, second opinions please.

I want to build a computer, I can spend around 700-750. My friend recommended this:

EDIT: Possible alternatives? Any thoughts? I'm just trying to get as many opinions as possible.

don't get an APU (A10-5800K) if you're just going to buy a dedicated GPU (GTX 660)

also, you don't really need 600w, and i'd recommend switching to a lower watt PSU from a more reliable brand. seasonic makes the best PSUs.

I would suggest going for a Radeon GPU myself. They have superior price/performance to Nvidia which is what you should focus on at that price point. the 7850 or 7870 should be around the same kind of performance as the card you are looking at.

That PSU is the one I recently installed in my PC and it is an excellent one.

CPU wise. 2 things are major factors.

Overall clock speed. The higher the better for single core intensive tasks like gaming.

Number of cores and threading. More the better for running multiple applications at the same time.

If you want this to be a multimedia machine go for more cores. If you want it to be gaming focused then prioritize a faster clock speed over the number of cores in there.

You dont need an APU if you have a graphics card so focus on getting the best CPU you can with the money.

And dont forget to buy RAM for that machine since it inst in your original list of parts

At the price I'm at, it's already getting to be a bit too much. I'd rather not spend more money. Would this be better than what I have?

Careful. That CPU you just listed will not fit in the original motherboard you picked. It uses an FM2 socket and the motherboard has an FM3+ socket.

The ones in quotes are alternativs. So is the new CPU better than the first one I had? It was $10 cheaper, and as far as I can tell, seemed to be about the same.
