What would you do if your father-in-law was the son of a long wanted killer leader of an extremely prestigious bike gang who was going to pass his duties to him and then from him to his daughter which potentially has to do the same type of jobs these bike leaders do such as "make hits" on certain individuals just because they're trying to kill "you" or other members of your community ?
What if "She" thinks its just normal and doesn't really look into future repercussions or possibilities that could affect the lives of future possible children to an extend where it might ironically threaten their lives ?
This is not particularly my case as far as you know, I just wanted feed back.

Kicking ass at your wife's side sounds like the most awesome approach.
Seriously though, if it's a family thing and she's okay with it, I wouldn't see much cause to interfere.
You could always express your concerns to her and see how she takes it.

And... he's wonderful."

If i was in that persons shoes i would try and convince "her" that there will probably be repercussions and try to explain what those may be. If possible i would try and get "her" out of the tradition so to speak or at least try and delay the time until it happens.

Stand up for what is right even if you're standing alone.

Visit your local FBI office, and clue them in. I'm sure they'll be very interested in a chat...

Talking to her is really the best solution, outside of disrupting her family and getting the law involved (which, to be honest, the law probably is involved, just on the leader himself).Zinrius wrote: I'm actually talking to her about it yeah, it's so weird... I am personally doubtful, though, that it will become an inherited thing. In cases like that, those who are already involved in the day-to-day activities will normally be the ones who take over. This is why it's important to talk to her, not to gauge from her whether it is right or wrong, but whether she actually has interest in doing it.
