I traded all of mine from Wasderpia over to Land of the Derps, so LotD has about 1,100 or something.

Re: NationStates
Heh, I think I found something about the IPO...
Spoiler! :
Re: NationStates
I sold my IPO shares to the guy down the road. I've mailed max requesting transfer to him now.
On a side issue I reached 250 million playthings!
The United Kingdom of Welwynville is a huge, environmentally stunning nation, remarkable for its compulsory military service. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 250 million are kept under strict control by the oppressive government, which measures its success by the nation's GDP and refers to individual citizens as "human resources."
It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt, moralistic government stops and the rest of society begins, but it concentrates mainly on Law & Order, although Defence and the Environment are secondary priorities. The average income tax rate is 45%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, followed by Trout Farming and Soda Sales.
Every citizen must submit to DNA testing to be eliminated from police inquiries, criminals are executed and their property seized, phone taps are frequently carried out by the police, and the country has been 'going shopping' by annexing nearby nations for their resources. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force. Welwynville's national animal is the Human, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the Slave.

Win."This idea is brilliant, and Pototo can't afford to pass it up," claims Freddy de Vries, your Minister of Safety. "These loudspeakers can assure the public that the government is always here to help them. The potential here, to immediately warn citizens of an emergency such as an earthquake or a stampede of potatos or something, simply must be taken into account! This could save lives! And I suppose, when there isn't anything the citizens need to be told, you could always use them to broadcast patriotic messages like 'Eat more pomme de terre!' and inform the good people which party to join and vote for with newsbriefs and such. It'll be worth it to strengthen the populace's devotion to our glorious nation!"

Dont want to gravedig here, but I was part of the group that max donated to in the end. I was negotiating with people who would have allowed us to beat Max without his help...but they decided to be selfish in the last moments and foiled our plans. We ALMOST won IPO
The lepearchauns is my nation. Been playing for over 5 years now. Come shout by the region South Pacific if you want to say hi!

Ahem. Bump.
Current state of my nation:
The BEPU of BEPU is a massive, economically powerful nation, ruled by Aenir with an iron fist, and renowned for its complete lack of public education. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 1.812 billion are ruled with an iron fist by the corrupt, dictatorship government, which oppresses anyone who isn't on the board of a Fortune 500 company. Large corporations tend to be above the law, and use their financial clout to gain ever-increasing government benefits at the expense of the poor and unemployed.
It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt, moralistic, pro-business government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Defence, Law & Order, and Commerce. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of bEPU. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 33%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, followed by Information Technology and Uranium Mining.
Theoretical science is only theoretical, society and government have been organized according to a feudal hierarchy, new religious sects are squashed immediately by the government, and military service is compulsory. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force. BEPU's national animal is the Cat, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is bEPU, and its currency is the Pig.

Following new legislation in BEPU, nuclear warheads are frequently launched into space as a warning to invading meteoroids.
