Foolish mortals.
I know they can drown. And it REALLY pisses them off if you continually push them into the lava on the Daedric plains...

Steel works well for hitting them round the noggin too...

Well, Bethesda have announced a collector's edition for Skyrim

http://www.elderscrolls.com/community/b ... s-edition/

Now, normally, I'm a sucker for these types of editions. But the price is $199 Australian. That's $149.99 (US), €149.99 (Europe), and £129.99 (UK).

Ripoff anyone?

Oh WTF! I try to log in to the ES site, input my age (17 btw) and what do I get? ACCESS DENIED. Grrr...... I'm pissed.

Also, that price is rediculous. Bethesda is confusing me lately... With the whole sueing of Notch and the removing of rights to the Fallout MMO and all...

They sued Notch over the Scrolls thing? What the hell, I heard they just asked Mojang not to use the title.

That makes the collectors edition look small but actually, that dragon is the size of a mountain and seems small in the picture because its actually REALLY far away

Today at QuakeCon 2011 in Dallas, TX, Bethesda lifted the lid on the Collector’s Edition of the highly-anticipated Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The CE, which will be available on PC, PS3, and 360 on the same date as the standard edition (11.11.11), will contain the following:

Alduin Statue: Created in conjunction with the IP Factory, this collector’s only statue stands 12” tall and is made of high quality PVC. Modeled from actual in-game 3D digital files, it showcases Alduin, the World Eater. He stands perched atop one the game’s many dragon walls that teach the player the lethal language of dragons.

‘The Art of Skyrim’ Official Art Book: Featuring over 200 pages of striking, full-color illustrations, sketches and models, this stunning 9 3/8” x 12 1/8” coffee table book showcases the characters, creatures, environments, and weaponry of Skyrim. With a foreword by game director Todd Howard and commentary from Bethesda Game Studios artists, readers will be guided through the game’s iconic visual style.

‘The Making of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim’ DVD: This documentary DVD contains exclusive, behind-the-scenes footage, including interviews with the Bethesda Game Studios team as they take you from concept to creation and provide insights into the story, gameplay, setting, legacy of the Elder Scrolls franchise, and much more.

The Collector’s Edition will be available through pre-order and will retail for $149.99 (US), €149.99 (Europe), £129.99 (UK), and A$199.99 (Australia).

Seriously? One DVD that most likely lasts for 30 minutes, one artbook you flip through when the game is installing and a 30 cm statue in PVC?

What the heck? I'm supposed to pay three times the original pricing for that?! It costs even more than The Old Republic Collectors edition! Over in Sweden, the game costs about 250 dollars or 170 Euro at the cheapest retailer.

I'd just like the game and the map, thank you very much.

Well, Pin, I guess the art book is more valuable to us more artists, and the dvd would be great in seeing more about how they made the game, that will be fun for people that are interested and us who have hopes of one day do the same xD
And the statue... STFU UP PIN!!! *Starts tossing money at Bethesda*
And a map :P and ofc the game xD
