Okay, just an update: the Xbox Platoon is steadily expanding (Our friends from elsewhere are joining because Escapecraft and its stylish logo are just so awesome). As I've posted on Battlelog, if any Xbox players who can can state a time, I'd like to get a game going with us to see everyone's "3p1c 5killz".

Battlelog is 'currently updating' so we can't approve it yet, but I'll check and do that as soon as I can.

Sure! Search Escapecraft, one of them is the X-360 one. I'll add you to it, or get Tyrese to.

That's because of the new weapons and numerous bug fixes. :P Go get Back to Karkand too, you might get it free if you have the Limited Edition or whatever

Yep, that I do. Still need to download it though.

My first impressions are that it's... Less forgiving than other online shooters I've played.

Yeah, it's definetly not an easy game like CoD (I like CoD, so don't start yelling "fanboy"). Too bad it's so teamwork focused though, my teammates are usually complete morons.

I don't really play much CoD, but when I have I've found it to be a similar level of difficulty... odd...

CoD's easy...

Played first match of MW3 at a friends - two 4 kill streaks and promoted to lvl 3 in an already started match...

I must say (Don't yell at me for this please) I liked bad company 2 better than bf3. Been playing a bit and can't help but relate it to CoD at some points. I still like it much more than CoD, which is way too linear campaign wise for my tastes. My brother played some of the campaign in bf3 and came to the same conclusion. However, I have yet to try the multiplayer, which will probably make up for it. I still need to set up my xbox live with my new router, and haven't felt like doing it.

Lol, the campaign is by far the weakest thing in BF3. It's almost not worth playing, I still haven't gone past the second mission.

Going back to Bad Company 2, I was incredibly disappointed when they decided to focus on the multiplayer for it. The singleplayer for Bad Company 1 was excellent - it was incredibly funny and I loved the characters. As far as I've seen the sequel toned that down a lot, which to me feels like a complete waste.

I was talking about what he said. he said
I like CoD, so don't start yelling "fanboy"
, which I thought was mildly nonsensical, as surely him saying he likes it is more reason for people to yell fanboy.

Mountbatten, I agree, that was one of only a few campaigns that I've really enjoyed playing, and felt compelled to continue with, despite mostly going for multiplayer in all the games I buy.

*nods head knowedgeably*
However, it could be said that the entire campaign of BC2 wasn't needed. After all, they finished BC1 driving off into the sunset with what was most likely billions of pounds of solid gold (unless the truck they were carrying was scrap metal) but in BC2 they're suddenly normal soldiers, no longer 'B Company', and no reference is made to the previous campaign.

I was pretty disappointed by that.

Sigh... I need more people to play with on PS3. I'm tired of getting stuck in squads who don't heal, revive, give ammo, or spot. Every I get stuck with just spams RPGs or Snipes from the farthest corners of the map.
