Escapecraft Matchmaking Lobby

Post by haxxorzd00d » 07 Jan 2013, 15:48

Here at Escapecraft we play a lot of Minecraft, and even some DayZ - but our community plays lots more games than just those. So why not play together? Here's a place to share any games you're looking to play with others, as well as your online IDs. This is primarily for PC games, but you can list other platforms you're looking for game partners on.

Looking to play LAN games over the Internet? Try Evolve. It's a free player-to-player gaming service like Hamachi, but much more reliable. Simply download the client, add some friends and host a party to LAN it up - I've so far had 100% success with every game I've tried, whether Steam games, non-Steam games, or even delicious pirated games. Don't judge me. <_<

=============================
Steam ID: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197995300042/

Looking to play:
Age of Empires 2/3
Borderlands
Borderlands 2
Civilization V
Company of Heroes / Opposing Fronts
Dungeon Defenders
Killing Floor
Magic the Gathering: DotP 2012/2013
Magicka
Sins of a Solar Empire: Trinity
Terraria
Torchlight II
Total War: Shogun 2
Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War II

Go on, post your games! Let's get some matches going!

Well I'm always up for some Terraria. Love that game, it's just hard to find co-op partners these days.

Magicka might be fun, although I've forgotten all the combos.

I also own:
Age of empires II
Borderlands 1 & 2
Dungeon defenders

These would interest me most but I can only play sins and torchlight 2 atm.

Oh and does anyone know if Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion could play with trinity, what with it being an expandalone

I would assume Rebellion and Trinity aren't inter-compatible. Rebellion, from what I gather, includes all the Trinity content with a new graphical update and some new content (factions, more ships, etc.) but since it's all rolled into one, I doubt one could select which version of the game to play, as is possible with Trinity. Correct me if I'm wrong.

And folks, while I do appreciate feedback on the games I've posted, do feel free to share the games you're looking to play which I haven't already mentioned. Looking for a nice diverse list in here.

Personally, I'm more of a console gamer, I probably own about 15 or so computer games (which probably half of them are pirated, including my Mount & Blade set), with only 7 of them being Steam supported. With that said, here's some of the games I play infrequently from time to time, both on Xbox Live and Steam:

Online/Steam:
Arma 2/Arma OA/DayZ
Empire: Total War
Mount & Blade: Warband
Mount & Blade: With Fire and Sword
Team Fortress 2
Tekkit/FTB

Xbox 360:
Assassin's Creed 3
Call of Duty: MW3 (Possibly Black Ops II in the future)
Dead Rising 2
Far Cry 2 & 3
Grand Theft Auto IV (also both DLCs, Lost and Damned and Ballad of Gay Tony)
Halo 3 & Halo 3: ODST
Halo 4
Halo: Reach
Mass Effect 3
NHL 12 (If you are sane enough to play repetitive sports games...)
Red Dead Redemption (also Undead Nightmare)
Red Faction: Guerrilla
Sleeping Dogs

I can't play much of anything, in a month or two, I think I'll be trading my chromebook(as much as I love it, it doesn't do as much as I want) for something more substantial(suggestions are cool, must be: laptop, sub $1,000 very much preferred)

Until then, I can play IRC if anyone wants, and there might be some browser-flash whatchamacallit we can play togehter(no Java, silly google)

I'd suggest the laptop my brother has except it is over your price limit by like 400$, really nice laptop though, more powerful than my desktop which I got brand new last year.

I've been playing Awesomenauts and DoW 2 lately, if anyone wants to join me. Other than that I've been playing single player games.

For anyone who's still into Age of Empires 2 (my favourite RTS), apparently modders out there have been supporting it, even more than 10 years later. I just stumbled across Age of Empires 2: Forgotten Empires, a surprisingly well-made fan mini-expansion to the game, released less than a month ago.

Some features:
5 brand new civilizations
30 new technologies
9 new units
50+ population limit
11 new maps
1 new building
AND support for resolutions up to 1920*1440 with widescreen and window mode! Finally!

Also includes some new random map options and AI types. I've been messing around with it, and it's pretty damn neat. Anyone interested, get yourself the Evolve client (link's in my siggy) and we'll LAN it up. If you don't have Age II and the expansion, definitely don't ask me about it on Evolve or Steam, because I certainly don't know any places where you could obtain it for free and I absolutely wouldn't give you any links to do so. That'd just be silly.

I'd play some Terraria too if someone set up a server for us. I don't think I've ever even gotten to hard mode.

Playstation is off the books for now since the whole memory of it sort of died a death. Might update if that changes.
(I'll list stuff anyway, expect no order.)
-CoD 3-current
-Skate
-Skate 2
-Assassins Creed franchise
-The Orange Box
-Others...
(I forget)

Steam, name of M4Numbers.
Possessing multiplayer games (That I'd actually want to play):
-Awesomenauts
-Bioshock 2
-Borderlands
-Borderlands 2
-Dota 2
-Killing floor
-Left 4 Dead
-Left 4 Dead 2
-Portal 2
-Team Fortress 2
-Terraria
-Trine
-Trine 2

I'm also game for anyone who wants to play Tribes 2, an Unreal Tournament style shoot-em-up. I most definitely do not have League of Legends, even though it is on my PC, I do not play it and will not play it unless drunk/absent of thought/dead.

Awesomenauts is like DOTA 2 in that a cheese sandwich is similar to a ham sandwich.

In other words, if you don't like bread, then everything tastes like shit.

I think I know what laptop you're talking about strangely, it's for what you said, it's huge o_o

But yeah, I don't really want things /that/ powerful, no matter how long they'd be "powerful" for.
