So a good friend of mine is going to be having a Wedding and she wants to have Tea and food afterwards and has asked me and others.
"if you were attending a tea in the mid-afternoon, say around 3 pm... what sort food would you expect to be there?"
I said I knew some people who would have a good idea about what might be served... so what would be served?

If sugar is needed try various biscuits. If something more savory try cucumber sandwiches or something else light and not too flavorful.

I'm not gonna lie... I thought the question was what kind of tea would be good for such an occasion. And when I saw you all replying with food I was like "What a bunch of asses". But then I re-read it after 4 more people replied with food comments and then I felt like an ass.

Soooo yea, I vote TEA SANDWICHES!!!! HELL YEA!

Tea sandwiches usually take the form of food that can be eaten in 2 or 3 bites. The bread can be wheat, rye or pumpernickel, and have many spreads. They can also have many food toppings such as chopped chicken or fish.
(Totally copy/pasted)

At least that's what I'd enjoy... Have crackers/bread/spreads/toppings all layed out seperately and let them build their own. That way everyone's happy.

TEA SANDWHICHES DAWG!
