Evan takes a look. Primitive security system. He tries to pull it out, then he tries to break the trapdoor with his hands. It proved futile. He grabs broken stair part and starts smashing the trapdoor with it.

*Windy gets to the bedroom door and opens it revealing darkness*

"I say Gerald, have you got that flashlight in there. It's looking rather dark"

Fang finally finds what looks like a main hall with a number 3 on the door, he walks towards it and opens it.

Bruce wakes up in his room.
"How long have I been sleeping?" he asks himself quietly. He notices the flower he picked up earlier still looks fresh and alive. He can't have been out long at all.
He stretches his arms and looks around, noticing the lights are off. He stumbles around for the switch, but fails to find it, before bumping into his door.
As he lies on the ground, he hears a voice on the other side of the wall.

"I say Gerald, have you got that flashlight in there. It's looking rather dark"

"Hello?" Bruce calls out. "Who's there?"

Thomas smells the distant smell of krill and begins searching for the source. He wanders by a door marked 3, but decides to keep going.

Bruce wakes up in his room.

"Hello there fellow, are you alright? You seem to have taken quite a bump. Might I suggest having the lights on if you try to walk around"

*Windy helps Bruce up*

"The names Windy Mcmillson the 3rd and this *Points to Gerald holding a tiny flashlight* Is Gerald. Who might you be, and would you happen to know the source of that unearthly noise that sounded earlier?"

Rook sacrifices his most precious thing, his ball of yarn, to mark a path of where he has been.
"Ha! Let's see these halls get me lost now!"

"Hi, Bruce Thane," Bruce says, as he rubs his head. "To be honest, I haven't a clue where the sound came from. I don't even know where I am! Could you point me in the direction of Room 666?"

"Well I'm afraid to say we're in the same sort of situation then. I've not got a clue where anything is in this house. Oh and there are others that are rather... strange... but they seemed to have buggered off somewhere. Would you like some krill by the way? I would offer you cheese but somebody seems to like it..."

As you open the door there is a sudden gust of air as if something is moving very fast inside it. you quickly look about and as you look back you are face to face with this:

As Rook continues unwinding his yarn, he hears a low rumbling as he heads up a flight of stairs. "Huh, that sounds ominous. I wonder if whatever made that sound is good to eat.. "

@Rook: As you pass one of the doors a thin jet of blue flame shoots out from the keyhole.

@Fang: The floor begins creaking ominously behind you.

@Windy and Bruce: both roll 1d20 and windy roll another one for Gerald separately.

The creaking behid fang gets louder, he then jumps though the door labled 22. He then slips down to the floor and falls asleep, blocking the door.

@Windmill and Bruce: Windmill you notice a strange blue-green glow shining out from one of the doors down the hall.

Thomas now smells smoke and panics, he runs down more corridors. The smell gets stronger until he is in the exact place a whale should now be, the air. His large stature and speed forces him several feet over an inferno that was once stairs. He crashes down much like expected, the remnants of the scorched stairs follow him in the hole he has made to the basement. From below he mutters "Not again"

"Never mind about the krill," Bruce utters. "What's that?" he asks, pointing to a glow from under a door nearby.

Evra takes a few steps back and hides behind a wall, so the victim wouldn't see him

Gerald: "Squeak squeak"

"Alright, you do this and I shall give you some cheddar when we next find some."

*Gerald jumps off Windy's shoulder and cautiously moves to look under the door*

*Gerald slides under the door. on the other side he squeeks loudly then the hallway goes silent*

Iron wakes up with something appearing from under the door. He grabs it and it squeaks "Oh no," he whispers.

"Gerald, are you there! If any rapscallions behind there have harmed my friend then you shall meet your demise!"

*Windy goes to open the door*

Fang tackles the figure that opens the door before realizing it isn't a monster. "Name's Fang, how do you do?"
