Your Favourite Sites/Blogs/Whatever =D

Post by DuplicateValue » 31 Dec 2010, 12:15

So, where do you spend most of your time on the Internet?
Any particular sites you feel everyone in the world should know about?

Well, post them here! :D

As for me: I can honestly say Hyperbole and a Half (http://hyperboleandahalf.blogspot.com/) is easily the funniest thing I've ever read.
The crudely drawn pictures that accompany the writing are the work of a genius. =D

Oh god, I always have to close the tab before I reach the links at the end of each article. :lol:

My favorites include a cute comic blog about love, called everydayblues and one about the boring nature and stupidity of war, called Gone with the Blastwave If you don't know them yet, I realy recommend both.

Other then that I spend way too many time on easy amusement sites like verydemotivational, art of trolling and failbook (failbooking has gone to such a high level that if you typed "f" into Chrome in my laptop it suggested failbook rather than facebook itself for a while)

I read news at phandroid and joystiq, the first about android (phone related), the second about gaming in general.

Last but not least, I write my own blog and I'm rather fond of it. Wouldn't be much sense having it otherwise would it? :)

So do I actually. :)

Well, it's not so much writing, as just a collection of quotes and pictures of stuff I like.

Thats's nice. Mine started out as an it blog about small facts people should know about which would make their lives so much easier, but usually they don't know or they just don't care. After that my personal stuff started flowing in with my writings, my opinions (music, movies, etc), and now I also post updates about my youtube let's plays...

It's really a mix of things, but that's what I am too. A few people said I should break it down to personal/youtube/it blogs but I don't want to. I think people now days can filter what they want to read. If they don't care about one of my posts they just don't read it.

You guys can't tho... It's all in hungarian so it would be a lot of gibberish to you! :lol:

Yeah, I have a whole list of comics I read as well as a list of book marks of sites I like to go to.
However, I kind of need to book mark them XD otherwise I sometimes forget about a site or two.

I like this one. It's really, really, really, really strange.

Look at the game reviews down the right hand side of the page for hilarity. Especially McDonald's Treasureland Adventure. Don't forget to mouse the cursor over EVERY image for extra hilarity.

Ooo, a link dump? Every single one of the things I frequent are epic. So... *shares*;

I watch a buncha videos on teh yewt00bs. I am currently subscribed to:

Weezywaiter - He r teh hilarious.
Crap Shots - Basicly more LRR, for LRR fans out there.
Cyriak - Craziest stuff EVR.
Is It a Good Idea to Microwave This? - Guys microwave stuff and see what happens. Awexome.
Matt Koval - Infrequent releases, but they are always funny. He currently has a new web-series about dating going on there.
Mediocre Films - More funny.
Periodic Table of Videos - Chemistry is fun!
Sixty Symbols - So is Physics!
The Philip DeFranco Show - Who doesn't love PhillyD?
RayWilliamJohnson - Or RWJ!?

And I watch even MORE videos not on teh yewt00bs;

The Guild - Anyone who plays any kind of MMO has to watch The Guild. It's a requirement. And funny, of course!
Cinemassacre - James Rolfe does all kindsa fun stuff related to Horror movies, as well as is the Angry Video Game Nerd.
That Guy With The Glasses - Home of the Nostalgia Critic, who reviews old bad movies for funzies.
The Spoony Experiment - The SpoonyOne! What else is there to say? He's awexome.
LoadingReadyRun - Hopefully you know who these people are. If not, they're the best online comedy troupe I've seen!
Accursed Farms - Home of Civil Protection and Freeman's Mind. Both excellent Machinima that don't require you to have played the game they are based off of.
College Humor - Best site for daily lulz.

And only a few things on The Escapist, mostly related to LRR;

Unskippable - Myster Science Theater 3000, but with LRR and Video Games! :-D
ENN - This should be obvious.
Daily Drop - Drop stuff in front of a high speed camera and see what happens. E'RRY'DAY!
Zero Punctuation - If you're a gamer, why are you not watching this?

And of course, all the non-video sites I frequent;

Maddox - The most 'Epic' writer EVR. ;-)
VG Cats - The only webcomic I read. Well, that and Scott's Super Effective side comic.
Homestarrunner - Best Flash cartoon site in the world.

... And that's it! Every single link is worth checking out. DEW EET! DEW EET NAO!

Er, okay. Not much of interest on there though.

I only ever go on to when I'm changing my skin. Which I've done twice.

Plus, I'm not arsed enough to buy a book anyway. Regardless of how awexome it is.
