Heard that Chi Cheng passed away, which is pretty damn sad. He'd been in a coma since 2008, but I was sort of hoping he might recover eventually. Properly love Deftones, they're one of the first bands I really got into (and he's one of the people that inspired me to pick up the bass myself), I remember Chi being a top chap in his day.

Also, seek out The Bamboo Parachute, it's a collection of spoken word poetry he wrote a while back, and it's completely amazing.
