apparently jeb has been working on a new map format that allows for double the map height, some mod support, and better server performance.
I think that's pretty cool

If this goes through i can actually move solar city higher, SO IT LOOKS LIKE ITS ACTUALLY IN THE SKY (as apposed to awkwardly hovering at a fair distance off the ground)

Why did the maker of MCEdit (a program to make custom maps) decide to stop updating the program right before the new map type was announced?
